Cerita ini mengisahkan seorang nakhoda dan pahlawan bernama, Merong Mahawangsa yang dikatakan berasal dari keturunan Iskandar Zulkarnain.

Pada tahun 120, Empayar Rom ketika itu di bawah pemerintahan Hadrian sementara di negara China, Dinasti Han merupakan sebuah empayar yang kuat dan telah memperluaskan pemerintahannya ke negara Asia Tengah.

Sewaktu angkatan ROM sedang membaik pulih kapal mereka di Goa, mereka meminta pertolongan Merong Mahawangsa mengiringi Putera Rom ke Langkasuka (dikatakan terletak di utara Malaysia) untu berkahwin dengan seorang Puteri China yang cantik dari Dinasti Han.

Bagaimanapun, puak lanun dari Geruda mempunyai perancangan yang berbeza. Mereka memutuskan untuk menculik Puteri China dan menjadikannya sebagai tebusan. Di hujung pengairan Selat Melaka, Merong Mahwangsa dan angkatannya diserang oleh Geruda.

Dapatkah Merong Mahawangsa menyelamatkan Puteri China dan menyatukan baginda dengan Putera Rom sebagai perkahwinan yang menemukan dua tamadun besar di negara Timur dan Barat? Pastikan korang menonton filem ini untuk mengetahui kesudahannya.

subahanallah...sekali lagi Allah telah menunjukkan tanda kekuasaan-Nya kpd kita semua..gempa bumi dan tsunami teruk melanda jepun tgh hari semlam..jom la bace petikan akhbar yg amek dkt berita harian on9..*sorry mlas taip blk..hihi

TOKYO: Gempa bumi paling kuat dalam tempoh 140 tahun dengan ukuran 8.9 pada skala Richter, melanda timur laut Jepun semalam, mencetuskan gelombang tsunami sehingga setinggi 10 meter dan menyebabkan lebih 1,000 orang terbunuh.

Agensi berita Kyodo melaporkan, gempa bumi menyebabkan kerosakan besar kawasan di utara Jepun, manakala gelombang tsunami memusnahkan hampir apa saja di laluannya termasuk ladang pertanian, bangunan, rumah, kapal, kenderaan dan menyebabkan kebakaran.

“Gempa menyebabkan banyak kecederaan, kebakaran dan gelombang besar memaksa beribu-ribu penduduk melarikan diri ke kawasan lebih tinggi untuk menyelamatkan diri,” lapor Kyodo.

Beberapa loji jana kuasa nuklear dan pusat penyulingan minyak ditutup manakala sebuah firma pengeluar besi utama terbakar. Kira-kira 4.4 juta rumah di bahagian utara Jepun terputus bekalan elektrik.

Kyodo melaporkan, sebuah hotel di bandaraya Sendai runtuh, menimbulkan kebimbangan ramai penghuni mungkin terperangkap.

“Keadaan sungguh teruk dan saya ketakutan. Saya tidak pernah mengalami gempa bumi sekuat ini sejak 20 tahun lalu,” kata seorang pengurus sebuah restoran di Akasaka, Hidekatsu Hata, 36.
Pengalaman beliau dikongsi koresponden Reuters di Tokyo Linda Sieg yang turut merasai gegaran kuat di pejabatnya.

“Bangunan pejabat kami bergegar kuat dan lama, menyebabkan ramai kakitangan mengambil topi keledar untuk melindungi kepala mereka, manakala yang lain bersembunyi di bawah meja,” katanya.

Stesen televisyen NHK menyiarkan imej gelombang tsunami menghanyutkan sisa bangunan, kenderaan di kawasan pantai Sendai yang mempunyai sejuta penduduk manakala kapal yang biasanya berada di pantai, dilihat terdampar di pelabuhan.

Asap hitam dilihat berkepul ke udara dari sebuah bangunan di Odaiba di pinggir Tokyo ketika perkhidmatan kereta api laju Jepun ke utara, terpaksa dihentikan.

Syarikat gergasi elektronik Jepun, Sony Corp, menghentikan operasi di enam kilangnya, ketika pesawat tentera udara dikejarkan ke pesisir pantai timur laut bagi meninjau tahap kerosakan yang berlaku.

Bank of Japan yang sedang berusaha meningkatkan ekonomi negara itu berkata pihaknya akan berusaha sedaya upaya memastikan pasaran kewangan terus stabil, ketika pasaran saham dan nilai yen jatuh.

Sementara itu, Pertubuhan Palang Merah di Geneva berkata paras air laut dilaporkan lebih tinggi di beberapa kepulauan Pasifik manakala amaran tsunami di seluruh wilayah itu kecuali Amerika dan Kanada. – Reuters
